Missouri Memory Day 2025
Join Us at Memory Day 2025: Advocating for Alzheimer’s & Dementia Care in Missouri
On Tuesday, February 11th, 2025, we invite you to join us in Jefferson City for an impactful day of advocacy at Memory Day—a pivotal event where we unite to raise our voices and push for Alzheimer’s and dementia care to be prioritized in Missouri. This day isn’t just about awareness—it’s about action. Together, we can Turn the Capitol Purple and make a meaningful difference for families across the state.
What to Expect at Memory Day
Engage with Policymakers and Advocates
This is your chance to connect with fellow advocates and key policymakers dedicated to improving the lives of those living with Alzheimer’s and dementia. Your presence matters, and every conversation helps build momentum for change.
Education and Training Session
In the morning, you’ll have the opportunity to join an education and training session. This will help prepare you for meetings with elected officials by providing insight into the Alzheimer’s Association’s legislative priorities for 2025 and the most pressing issues affecting Missouri families.
Take Action
The heart of Memory Day is about taking action. You’ll meet directly with elected officials at the Capitol to advocate for policy changes that support those living with dementia and their caregivers. By raising your voice, you are advocating for critical funding, support services, and protections that can improve the lives of families across the state.
Why Your Voice Matters
As we head into 2025, Alzheimer’s and dementia continue to impact millions of families in Missouri and beyond. It’s a growing concern that needs urgent action. Allen Serfas, President and Co-Founder of Assistance Home Care, will be attending Memory Day to represent the needs of our clients and families. His presence is a testament to our commitment to advocating for better care and resources for those affected by Alzheimer’s and dementia.
How to Get Involved
We encourage you to attend Memory Day and stand with us in raising awareness and pushing for policy changes. Your participation will help bring attention to the challenges faced by those living with dementia and their caregivers.
