Honoring Families, Hope, and Dementia Support at the 2025 Memories & Melodies Gala

This past Saturday, our Team had the privilege of attending the Annual Memories & Melodies Gala and Auction benefitting Memory Care Home Solutions. Hosted at The Chase Park Plaza, the evening brought together a remarkable community of caregivers, families, advocates, and supporters who share a common belief. No family should face dementia alone.

As a Harbor of Hope Sponsor, Assistance Home Care was honored to stand beside an organization that is changing the landscape of dementia support and bringing real help to families during their most vulnerable moments.

A Night Supporting Memory Care Home Solutions and Dementia Families

The gala welcomed supporters from across the region, and eight members of our Team proudly represented Assistance Home Care. Record-Breaking Support for Memory Care Home Solutions

Together, supporters raised more than $330,000. It was a record breaking year for Memory Care Home Solutions and a powerful statement about what happens when a community believes in a mission.

These funds directly fuel programs that help families access education, resources, training, and guidance as they navigate dementia. Because of this support, Memory Care Home Solutions can continue providing accessible programming so that cost never becomes a barrier to care.

Tom and Catherine’s Dementia Journey: A Story of Hope and Support

One of the most moving moments of the evening centered on the story of Tom and Catherine Tracy. Catherine’s tribute shared the journey of her husband’s earlier onset dementia, their family’s pain, and the overwhelming uncertainty they faced after receiving his diagnosis.

Tom was young. His family was young. They did not know where to turn or what came next. Like so many families facing dementia for the first time, they were searching for answers, support, and a lifeline.

Memory Care Home Solutions became that lifeline. Catherine shared how their programs and guidance brought direction during chaos and comfort during grief. Her words were heartbreaking, honest, and full of gratitude. The room was quiet as she spoke, and it was clear her story resonated deeply with caregivers and supporters alike.

Why Accessible Dementia Resources Matter for Families

Her message reminded us that dementia is not only a medical diagnosis. It is a family experience. It affects relationships, routines, emotions, and futures. Stories like Tom and Catherine’s are why organizations like Memory Care Home Solutions are essential.
