Our Care Professionals
Our Professional Caregivers Are The Foundation Of Our Success!
We go to great lengths to attract, recruit, develop and retain the absolute best Professional Caregivers in St. Louis and Chicago. We accomplish this through our rigorous 16-Step Hiring Process. We are confident that we have one of the most stringent recruiting and hiring processes in the home care industry today. We do not take introducing someone into our client’s home lightly and never should anyone else. The stakes are too high and it’s critical that we get it right the first time.
Experience That Matters
Our commitment to excellence begins with experience. We look for Care Pros with 3-5+ years of professional caregiving experience. This ensures that the person caring for your loved one brings proven expertise, real-world knowledge, and the confidence that comes from years of hands-on care. Experience matters, and we refuse to compromise on this standard.
Caregiver Compatibility Guarantee
We stand behind each and every Care Pro we hire and are confident that you will too. We ask that our clients not settle! To accomplish this, we simply ask ourselves to rate each one of our applicants on a scale of 1 to 10 and avoid offering a position to anyone who we can’t see being either a “9” or a “10”. When we find this caliber of candidate, we then turn to our rigorous screening process to determine whether they will be joining our team.

Frequently Asked Questions
Hiring Standards & Caregiver Qualifications
Q: What experience do your caregivers have?
A: We require a minimum of 3-5+ years of professional caregiving experience. We only hire individuals who have a proven track record of providing excellent care. All skills are demonstrated and verified during our in-person orientation sessions. We also look for individuals who wish to continue to grow and learn as a professional caregiver, and challenge those who claim to know everything there is to know about caregiving.
Q: How do you ensure your caregivers are the right fit?
A: We use a “9 or 10” rating system. If during the interview and orientation process we cannot confidently rate a candidate as a 9 or 10 on a scale of 1 to 10, we don’t hire them. We only want the absolute best caring for your loved one. There’s no shortage of caregivers out there, we receive hundreds of applications a week, but the great ones are certainly rare! In fact, we only hire between 3-5% of all applicants!
Q: What does your 16-Step Hiring Process involve?
A: Our process includes verifying professional experience, comprehensive background screenings (Federal, State, and County), Family Care Safety Registry Screening (MO) or IDPH Screening (IL), a 5-panel drug screen, DMV checks, behavioral assessments, and multiple interviews. We also evaluate each candidate’s ability to live our Core Values, work with technology, and communicate clearly.
Q: Are your caregivers employees or independent contractors?
A: All of our caregivers are W-2 employees, not independent contractors. This means greater accountability, reliability, and peace of mind for our clients.

Q: What kind of training do your caregivers receive?
A: Our Care Pros participate in our Certifications Training Program and have access to on-demand training resources. We are committed to continuous professional development for our entire team.
Q: Do you offer specialized training for dementia care?
A: Yes! We incentivize our Care Pros to earn their CARES Dementia Specialist (CDS) Credential through HCInteractive. This certification involves 33 hours of self-paced training and a 100-question exam. Caregivers who complete this program receive a $500 bonus and bring specialized expertise to families dealing with memory loss and dementia. This certification is in addition to our in-house training curriculum and is available to all of our employees.
Q: Can your caregivers obtain additional certifications?
A: Absolutely. We encourage and incentivize continuing education. Care Pros who earn their CNA license receive a $500 bonus. We believe in investing in our team’s growth because it directly benefits the families we serve.

Q: What if I’m not satisfied with my caregiver?

If you’re not completely satisfied, we will work with you to find the right match, and if there’s ever a day you feel we didn’t live up to our pledge, all we ask is that you call us within 24 hours and let us know what happened. Our Team is willing to waive up to 100% of the visit, all we want to know is how we can make it better for tomorrow. We ask that our clients not settle, and we mean it.
