At Assistance Home Care, we believe in giving back to the community that continues to place its trust in our Team. Since opening our doors in 2011, we have proudly donated over $400,000 to support local organizations that make a meaningful difference in the lives of older adults, family caregivers, and individuals navigating health challenges.
Giving Tuesday is a global day of generosity that inspires people and organizations to do good. Created in 2012, it began as a simple idea to encourage charitable giving after Black Friday and Cyber Monday and has grown into a worldwide movement supporting communities and causes of all kinds.
This Giving Tuesday, we are shining a spotlight on eight incredible nonprofit organizations whose missions align with our commitment to supporting seniors, families, and caregivers throughout the Greater St. Louis and Chicago regions.

1. Alzheimer’s Association

6. Aging Ahead
Aging Ahead supports older adults and their families through nutrition programs, resource navigation, caregiver support, and community engagement. Their services help seniors remain independent, safe, and connected.
7. The Caregiver Club
The Caregiver Club uplifts both family and professional caregivers by offering respite grants, local events, and supportive resources. Their programs create community connections and provide much-needed encouragement to those caring for loved ones.
8. Gateway End-of-Life Coalition
The Gateway End-of-Life Coalition works to improve awareness, education, and access to quality end-of-life care throughout the St. Louis region. Their mission is to ensure that individuals and families can navigate end-of-life decisions with dignity, support, and compassionate guidance.
