Celebrating 20 Years of the Walk to End Alzheimer’s in St. Charles

Last night, at Clarendale St. Peters, we came together to mark a momentous milestone—the 20th anniversary of the Walk to End Alzheimer’s in St. Charles. It was an evening filled with emotion, pride, and a shared commitment to the fight against Alzheimer’s, and it was incredible to see so many dedicated individuals gathered for this important cause.

This special event was more than just a celebration; it was a testament to the unwavering dedication of the countless people who have championed the Walk for years. Many attendees have been part of the Walk Committee for years, investing their time, energy, and hearts into raising awareness, supporting families, and rallying community efforts. Seeing this legacy of commitment was deeply inspiring, underscoring the strength of the Alzheimer’s community in St. Charles and our collective hope for a world without Alzheimer’s.

We were honored to have Ed Clay, CFRE from the Alzheimer’s Association Greater Missouri Chapter join us, as well as the phenomenal support from the St. Charles Walk Committee. A special thanks goes to Walk Manager Mary Williams, who has been instrumental in the Walk’s continued success. Her leadership, energy, and unwavering dedication have been crucial in bringing together the community year after year and driving meaningful change in our fight against Alzheimer’s.

Here’s to 20 years of hope, resilience, and progress. Thank you to everyone who has been a part of this journey, and may we continue to walk forward together toward a future without Alzheimer’s.
